Gurkeerat Singh Mann, India All-rounder Announces Retirement From All Forms Of Cricket At 33

Gurkeerat Singh Mann, who represented Indian in three ODIS, played for Punjab Kings, Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL.

Gurkeerat Singh Mann, who played three One-Day Internationals during India’s 2016 tour of Australia, announced his retirement from international and Indian cricket on Friday.

In addition to playing in India’s middle order, the 33-year-old bowled 10 overs of off-spin in the ODI series against Australia.

He was called up to India’s Test team for the home series against South Africa before making his ODI debut, however he did not play.

In 2021-22, he was Punjab’s leading run-scorer in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He played for Punjab Kings, Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. He was a member of the title-winning Gujarat Titans squad in 2022, but he did not play. He has 511 runs at a strike rate of 121 in 41 IPL games.

He most recently appeared in one game during Punjab’s successful Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy campaign.

Gurkeerat can now look into playing in abroad T20 tournaments after announcing his retirement from Indian cricket.
