Maxwell struck a 40-ball century, making him the fourth fastest ODI century ever.
During his 44-ball time in the middle, Maxwell hit nine fours and eight maximums. At 106, he was out on the final over to Logn van Beek. Earlier, South Africa’s Aiden Markram held the record with a 49-ball century against Sri Lanka at the same venue.
