India dominated the first day of the second Test, with star left-hander Yashasvi Jaiswal remaining undefeated at the end of day one. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. The Men in Blue started off well, with openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit scoring 40 runs for the first wicket. The latter was the first person to be dismissed.
