According to News 24, Maxwell would most likely miss the match owing to a thumb injury. Maxwell has been in poor form recently and has received criticism for it. On Thursday, against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, he went four balls without scoring. Maxwell’s third duck of the season came in his sixth game.
Maxwell scored zero in the first match, three in the second, 28 in the third, zero in the fourth, one in the fifth, and zero again in the sixth. Maxwell has scored only 32 runs in six matches.
